Today brings about so many many memories of what I was doing on September 11th, 9 years ago. I was in college in my first class of the day and heard from a classmate (who was late) that a plane had struck one of the towers. Then when we moved to our next class, we heard that another plane had struck. After that class, SWT had set up televisions everywhere for students to keep track of what was going on. It was oddly silent in the student center when normally it was loud. It was eerie.
One year later, I was in one of the spots where it all happened...Washington DC, for a conference for work.
We remember those who lost parents, children, daughters, sons, sisters, and brothers. Thank you to all of those who saved so many lives and thanks to those who lost their lives while saving others.
